Paraiba to debate on the release of gaming and casinos as a tourism development factor

Tomorrow (Wednesday 16) from 8 am to 12 pm, at the Golden Tulip in São José dos Campos, the 39 Mayors of the cities in the Paraiba state and important leaders will be part of the event “Dialogues and tourism strategies” organized by the Meon de Comunicação Group. They will discuss about the challenges and opportunities in the next four years for the Paraíba Valley. Panel 2 (11am) “Opportunities and innovations in the tourism market” includes the analysis of the release of gaming and casinos as a development factor.

The Secretary of Tourism of the State of São Paulo and former Minister of the portfolio, Vinícius Lummertz, a strong supporter of the legalization of casinos, will be in charge of a lecture at the opening of the event. The, PANEL 1 “Tourism as a factor of economic and social development in RMVale” tooks place at 10am. Tourism and events as platforms for job creation, income, and investments for RMVale municipalities, and how public and private synergy create strategic differentials in strengthening the sectional and regional destination.

The panelists will be José Magalhães (Executive Secretary of the State Tourism Council and president of the Brazilian Association of Chefs and Kitchen Professionals of Brazil), Toni Sando (Executive President of the São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau and President of UNEDESTINOS), Gustavo Monteiro (Secretary -Executive of the North Coast Circuit, Márcio Guerreiro (President of the Brazilian Association of Event Companies of São Paulo) and Bruno Omori (President of the Institute of Development, Tourism, Culture, Sport and Environment - IDT / CEMA), as moderator.

Finally, Panel 2 “Dialogues and tourism strategies” will offer a creative and differentiated view of the opportunities that tourism can provide for RMVale's municipalities, with an approach on technologies, dialogues on the release of gaming and casinos as a factor of tourism development, transportation and entertainment to attract new audiences and demands. Omori will also be the moderator of this debate.
