In partnership with ‘Jogo do Bem’ project

Betsul supports and promotes a R$ 10,000 donation to the Compartilhar Institute

The ‘Jogo do Bem’ project, in conjunction with Betsul – a leading sports betting site in South America -, contributes with R$ 10,000 (US$ 2,300) to the Social and Sports Program of the Compartilhar Institute, a non-profit entity coordinated in Curitiba that works on behalf of children and teenagers from 9 to 15 years old, mainly students from public schools, so that they can practice sports in a fun way while learning essential values for their education and social transformation.

The donation was delivered by Vôlei Renata, sponsored by Betsul, through the Olympic champions Maurício Lima and André Heller and ambassadors of the volleyball team. The project has been a partner of the Compartilhar Institute since 2010 and participates through Vôlei em Rede, which teaches the sport in the afterhours of the municipal education of Campinas and Itu for more than 450 children.

For the executive manager of the Compartilhar Institute, Luiz Fernando Nascimento, “having supporters like Betsul, which benefits social projects, only collaborates to multiply this chain of inclusion and sports development, building a society with more hope, love and success. The true Sport Effect.”

The Compartilhar Institute, founded by multi-champion volleyball coach Bernardinho, seeks to train more active, healthy people, able to make conscious and responsible decisions, participative in society and tolerant, confirming their mission of human development through sport. Currently, it serves approximately 3,500 students in 44 centers located in five states (MG, PR, RJ, RN and SP).

The ‘Jogo do Bem’ project is a pioneering action by Betsul, a leading sports betting site in South America, which allocates a sum of the amount collected from bets on its platform to social causes. All partner institutions of ‘Jogo do Bem’ are linked to health and sport, areas directly related to the universe of sports betting.

“It is a great joy to follow the progress of the project and to see more and more people benefited by such a noble initiative that still has so much to grow,” celebrates Fernando Rivas, CEO of Betsul.

This was the third action of ‘Jogo do Bem’ benefiting and supporting social projects - the first donation was made in favor of the Sorocabana Basketball League, through the project “Arremesso para Amanhã”, and the second incentive was for the Sports Association for the Disabled, ADD, which has the basketball legend Oscar Schmidt as its sponsor.

To participate in ‘Jogo do Bem’ and support these and other social causes, a person has just to register and bet through Betsul. Thus, with each bet placed on the site, the bettor will be supporting the program automatically. This does not imply any additional cost for the user, it is Betsul that allocates a percentage of its profit to do good.

Betsul is one of the best sports betting site in South America, developed to meet the most demanding bettors and fans. The website offers a simple, intuitive and safe interface for the bettor to have fun at will from various betting modalities and an extensive list of sports.

With strong ambassadors, such as Falcão (futsal), Oscar Schmidt (basketball), Rodrigo Minotauro (MMA) and Thaísa Daher (volleyball), Betsul also represents the Brazilian arm of Gambling for Change, an organization that intends to revolutionize sports betting market around the world. Called ‘Jogo do Bem’ in Brazil, the initiative allocates a sum of money raised with bets on the site to a cause or social institution.
