Grupo Arena Petry and Hard Rock International presented their partnership in grand event

With the presence of politicians, authorities, the press and guests, the official announcement of the partnership between the Arena Petry Group and Hard Rock International was made last Friday night (31st), in São José, in Greater Florianópolis. The event was attended by Hard Rock representatives Todd Hricko, senior VP of global hotel development, Alex Pariente, senior VP of casino operations, and Javier Sanchez, senior VP of development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Alex Pariente highlighted the partnership with Arena Petry in the development of the entertainment complex, which in addition to Hard Rock Live Florianópolis will have a hotel with 300 rooms and a possible casino-resort. “I am proud to be part of a work group together with the Petry family, who are so loving and dedicated in what they do. They assumed the responsibility of having the Hard Rock brand, in addition to the commitment to create this unprecedented entertainment complex in Brazil. May the brand bring a lot of success to this beautiful destination that is Santa Catarina,” said Pariente.

Business leaders, politicians and artists participated at night in São José in the presentation event of the Hard Rock International project for Greater Florianópolis. The American multinational present in 76 countries put its legendary brand and know-how to form the Hard Rock Live Florianópolis entertainment complex, which will include the current house of events, a hotel of 300 apartments, store and brand’s restaurant, among other attractions.

Part of the Florida company's executive board attended the event, including senior vice president of global hotel development, Todd Hricko, and senior vice president of casino operations, Alex Pariente. The host, businessman Sandro Petry, president of the Petry group, showed a lot of optimism with the partnership, which he has been looking for since he was building the project opened in December 2018.

"We are excited to introduce our standard of entertainment to Florianópolis," said Todd Hricko, senior vice president, head of global development at Hard Rock International. “It was exciting and rewarding to work with the Arena Petry Group to transform it, ensuring that it embraces the Hard Rock vibe at a time when Santa Catarina welcomes the brand.”

After changes at the Petry Arena, the brand new Hard Rock Live Florianópolis will be the largest indoor arena in Brazil for entertainment, with a capacity to accommodate 17,000 participants. The venue was designed to have the ability to simultaneously host up to 10 social events and a complete show activation. Hard Rock will follow the leadership of Petry Arena, as the site will continue to attract regional and international artists and be the largest multi-event complex in the South of Brazil.

The Florianópolis project will consist of two additional phases after the development of Hard Rock Live. Phase II is a 300-room hotel. Subsequently, there will be the development of a casino, which depends on the possible approval of gambling regulations in Brazil. The project was planned to create more than 2,000 local jobs for the construction and development of Hard Rock Live and the hotel, as well as additional opportunities after the completion of each phase.

"We are excited to be able to partner with Hard Rock to start a new moment in the Arena Petry project," says Sandro Petry, president of the Arena Petry Group. "We are confident that the brand's passion for music and entertainment will be the perfect match for a lively and renewed Arena."

Located in the heart of Santa Catarina, close to Serra and the most beautiful beaches, Hard Rock Live Florianópolis and its next phases will become the perfect refuge for residents and travelers. Through musical appreciation and an imaginative environment, Hard Rock Hotéis & Casinos offers products for different aspects of life - work, fun and personal.”
