A VIP delegation representing the global reach of the ICE brand has officially opened the 2020 edition of the world's largest gaming technology exhibition at the ExCeL Exhibition Center in London. The opening ceremony, in the presence of representatives of the sector and specialized media, officially welcomed the largest edition of ICE London, which in 2020 includes 633 exhibiting brands from 67 countries, which occupy 40 of the 44 rooms of the complex.

Part of that delegation and invited by the organizers, the president of Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies Tourism Commission, Newton Cardoso Jr.; the state deputy for Minas Gerais, Alencar da Silveira Jr; and the president of the Brazilian Hotels Association - São Paulo, Bruno Omori, participated in the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony with Kate Chambers, director of Clarion Gaming.

In an exclusive conversation with Games Magazine Brasil, deputy Cardoso affirms that ICE is a great event: “It is one of the biggest gaming shows in the world, which will gather more than 40 thousand people in four days. And the most important of this is that Brazil is in a prominent position because it is seen by several businessmen, entrepreneurs and international regulatory bodies to be a destination for legalization and gaming regulation from 2020.”

“We, through the National Congress, have every interest in seeing this regulation becoming a reality. We are working continuously, as a priority in the Tourism Commission, in the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate so that the gambling sector is approved in 2020 with an open, inclusive regulation that allows development, job creation and improvement of the condition life of the Brazilian people,” assures the president of the Chamber of Deputies Tourism Commission.

“We are here representing the hotel market in Brazil, to see business and opportunities for casinos in the country. In addition, we have meetings with the sports betting sector that can build sportbooks within the hotels. There are possibilities for increasing national tourism. We also have, taking advantage of this occasion, meetings with London monetization platforms,” assured Omori to GMB.

"We are entering ICE London 2020 after a significant and, above all, constant growth. This year is officially the largest edition ever recorded," revealed Chambers after the ribbon cutting.

“In 2020 we expanded some of the most popular features of ICE London and added some new ones, including the first ICE Esports Arena that is organizing a US$ 250,000 tournament. This year's edition also features a significantly larger Consumer Protection Zone that raised £ 65,000 by presenting itself better to charities,” added the director of Clarion Gaming.

After the ceremony and as happens in each international fair, the Games Magazine Brasil stand was an unavoidable place and a “friend’s house” for all Brazilians who always come to greet, take a photo and share opinions.

Some of the ones who stopped by were Alessandro Valente (co-founder of Super Afiliados), Witoldo Hendrich Jr (founding partner of Online IPS), Luciana Hendrich (founder of Hendrich Digital Content), lawyer Roberto Brasil Fernandes (partner at Brasil Fernandes Advogados) , Italian businessmen Roberto Quattrini (IGT’s Country Manager Brasil and representative of the Estrela Instantânea consortium), Pedro Lucas (CEO of Apostas Online), Javier Manceñido Laczo (Sales VP of Optima), and Argentine businessmen owner of bingos and former president of the Boca Juniors football club, Daniel Angelici.
