Since December 2019 the Swedish group has also been operating in Brazil through the Suaposta brand, the first and only operator fully licensed in Brazil for the operation of bets linked to the sports segment through a partnership with the Jockey Club of Rio Grande do Sul.
The gaming giant was awarded the ‘Great Place to Work’ award and the ‘Innovator of the Year’ award. In a social media statement, Betsson Group wrote: “We’re thrilled with these prestigious awards and would like to thank all our Betssonites for being so great”.
Betsson Group has been headquartered in Malta since 2004 and today employs over 900 people across central functions such as HR, Legal and Finance, Customer Service, Odds Compiling, Digital Marketing and Technology. It has two offices on the island, located in Ta’ Xbiex and a new space in St Julian’s.
The company has offices in Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Georgia, Sweden and now it also operates in Brazil.
