In a text published in social networks, lawyer Roberto Brasil Fernandes disclosed his participation in the negotiation process between Arena Petry and Hard Rock that culminated in the announcement of the creation of Hard Rock Live Florianópolis.
The lawyer revealed that throughout 2019 the Brasil Fernandes Advogados office, after being contracted by the Brazilian company Arena Petry, followed the 22 standard steps proposed by the Hard Rock Group, starting with the signing of an NDA, Due Diligence, going through development and signature of LOI, execution of the signed LOI, so that, finally, companies sign the Hard Rock Branding Agreement, the Hard Rock brand licensing agreement, and Hard Rock Hotel Licensing.
“We are proud to participate in this initiative, representing the Petry Arena, in the project that will transform the largest indoor concert arena in Brazil into one of the largest Hard Rock Live in the world, and all of this in Santa Catarina state. Brasil Fernandes Advogados acted in the legal area, with personalized service, in person, in Brazil and in the United States and above all, attentive to the needs and desires of our client, which made it possible to establish a strong partnership between the companies involved,” Stated Roberto Brasil Fernandes.
Talking to GMB, Roberto Brasil Fernandes spoke of the importance of this announcement for the legalization process of casinos in Brazil, as it is one of the verticals of the American brand in the world. Where there is Hard Rock, there is quality entertainment, with social and environmental responsibility.
“The connection is evident, Hard Rock is one of the largest casino operators in the world, and puts both feet in Brazil, to take advantage of every opportunity. Even the casino, when legalized,” he said.
Roberto Brasil Fernandes clarified that in the current contract he attends the Hard Rock Florianópolis project, which was contracted by Arena Petry (Brazilian group). There is no direct contract with Hard Rock and no representation of Brasil Fernandes Advogados with them here in the country.
The partnership between Arena Petry and Hard Rock was signed last Friday at a major event in the city of São José, in the greater Florianópolis. With the partnership, an entertainment complex will be developed, which in addition to Hard Rock Live Florianópolis will have an important hotel-resort, gastronomy, store and the expertise of one of the most famous global brands, linked to social, human and environmental responsibility.
