First club to lose partners, Goiás Esporte Clube had contracts suspended with Marjosports and Philco, which paid annual amounts of R$ 2.3 million and R$ 1.2 million, respectively.
The bookmaker claims that the decision was made by mutual agreement with the club and that the contract will be resumed only for professional football, paralyzed since the 15th of March, return to activity.
Marjosports is a company specialized in sports betting and has been sponsoring the Brazilian club since August last year, with a contract valid, initially, until the end of 2020.
Philco has been printed on the back of the Goiás jersey since November 2019. The American company was founded in 1892 and specializes in the manufacture of electronic products.
