Brazilian cameraman portrays unrecognizable Las Vegas paralyzed by coronavirus

The Coronavirus outbreak has reached every continent. As there is no cure or medication for COVID-19, a disease caused by the virus, the one recommended by health authorities is social isolation. Traditionally busy and full of tourists from all over the world, the pandemic transforms Las Vegas in an unrecognizable city. The city of the Nevada state hosts the World Series of Poker (WSOP) annually. As much as the date of the event is approaching, the atmosphere does not appear to be a party place. The 2020 edition of the WSOP is scheduled to begin on May 26.

After several casinos and hotels halted activities, the Las Vegas Strip, the city's famous avenue, is almost empty. Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak decreed that all casinos should be closed for at least 30 days.
