Meridian makes million dollar donation to Serbia and nearby countries to fight COVID-19

As one of the largest gaming and betting companies in Europe operating in more than 30 countries, Meridian has decided to donate millions of dollars to Serbia (its headquarters) and to countries in the region to help hospitals and to buy medical equipment to combat the coronavirus pandemic. Dozens of its employees were also among the first to volunteer across Serbia to help the most vulnerable citizens and deliver assistance packages.

"Our employees, as volunteers, are helping the municipalities of Serbia and the Red Cross, because now it is important to show solidarity and not let our doctors, police and soldiers bear the brunt of this crisis," the company explains.

Meridian considers itself a company that has always been concerned about its people and its country, with a high degree of social responsibility, which is now evident in this fight against COVID-19.
