G2E Asia postponed, new dates are July 28-30

The spread of the coronavirus in different continents, and especially in Asia, has altered the global agenda plans in different sectors, and the gaming industry is no exception. In this case, the organizers of the traditional G2E Asia informed that this year’s edition has been postponed from the original date of May 19 to July 28-30. The event takes place at the Venetian Macao.

Just recently the team at REED Expo in charge of G2E Asia has announced that the tradeshow’s dates have been moved from 19 May to July 28, the new dates of the show being 28-30 July 2020.

The postponement message contains the following text:

“We have carefully monitored the global health crisis related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Our top priority is ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, partners, and exhibitors at Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia). In consultation with our exhibitors and the Macao government, and out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing G2E Asia 2020.

G2E Asia is now scheduled for July 28-30, 2020 at the Venetian Macao

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. We will continue to monitor the situation and remain in close contact with all G2E Asia stakeholders in the coming weeks.
Thank you again for your understanding and continued support of G2E Asia.”
