Since mid-March, dozens of land-based, iGaming, Indian gaming, and legal and regulatory trade shows and conferences have been affected by COVID-19, with a few announcing virtual/online versions of their events.

Virtual conferences that have been created as an alternative to live events, include:
- SBC Digital Summit (27 April - 1 May 2020): A fully virtual and interactive conference, exhibition and networking experience for delegates around the world, delegates will be able to browse a digital exhibition and utilize an interactive networking space that allows them to connect directly or in groups.
- ICE North America Digital (11-15 May 2020): Clarion Gaming's flagship U.S. event has been reformatted as a digital event and will deliver a week of streamed industry content, discussions and debate.
- ICE SiGMA Asia Digital (8-10 June 2020): The virtual conference will cater to both gaming and tech audiences, with free-of-charge content geared towards bringing the industry together in what has been a difficult time for businesses.
- GAT Virtual Expo 2020 (28-30 July 2020): The traditional Colombian trade show that postponed its live event to 2021, announced a virtual fair to take place by the end of July.
- SAGSE Talks: Buenos Aires fair, which this year’s edition was moved to March 2021, launched last Monday (March 20) a series of online conferences and talks that will keep during the upcoming weeks.

- SPiCE India 2020: Goa, India, 25-27 March, postponed to 26-28 August
- IMGL Spring 2020 Conference: Athens, Greece, 1-3 April, postponed to 2021
- BET2020: London, U.K., 9 April, reformatted to virtual event
- SiGMA Roadshow Taipei: Taipei, Taiwan, 14-15 April, postponed to 2021
- Tribal Casino & Hotel Development Conference: San Jacinto, California, 20-21 April, postponed to 14-15 September
