GMB inaugurates its Live Series division with "AGORA BRASIL" webinar

Games Magazine Brasil opens its Live Series division (online live broadcasts) with the first webinar of the “AGORA BRASIL” cycle. Congressman Newton Cardoso Jr., Johnny Ortiz (Zitro), Alex Pariente (Hard Rock International) and Pedro Cortes (Rato, Ling, Lei and Cortés Advogados) will be part of the “Casinos as a new resource to overcome the crisis” panel. With the support of Clarions Events, the webinar takes place on Thursday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m. (Brasil) and will available for FREE at GMB’ official social networks (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).

With the support of Clarion Events, Games Magazine Brasil opens its Live Series division (online and live broadcasts) with the first webinar of the “AGORA BRASIL” cycle. The idea is to share experiences, opinions and concepts from the great local and international players that contribute to the mature and regulated legalization that the country needs.

The COVID-19 pandemic should boost the legalization of casinos to generate a new source of income and jobs that will help states to combat the consequences generated by current crisis. The 60-minute webinar in Portuguese will discuss the topic from the point of view of the main market references.

With the goal of offering a service with the highest possible quality, the broadcast will be in charge of a professional TV company, content producer and event streaming specialist.     Federal deputy Newton Cardoso Júnior (MDB-MG) is one of the Brazilian legislators most committed to legalizing of gambling in the country. He has participated in countless local and international industry events and led official missions in Las Vegas and Europe to seek information on the regulation and control of the activity. For the parlamentarian, the importance of releasing casinos and gambling is key to attracting tourists to Brazil and to collecting taxes.
     
  • Johnny Ortiz - Zitro Founder
    Johnny Ortiz Viveros is founder and president of Zitro, one of the world leaders in the manufacture and development of slots, video-bingo and interactive gaming. Latin America is one of his main focuses and leads an important project carried out by the American company in partnership with the Brazilian group Arena Petry. Florianópolis will be the first city outside the United States to receive a unit from the Hard Rock Live events venue which, in addition to the entertainment complex, will have a hotel with 300 rooms and a possible casino-resort.

Witoldo Hendrich Junior is a founding partner of Hendrich Advogados and Online IPS Brazil, a global payment solution company. As a specialist in gamng regulation, he has been a speaker and moderated panels at many industry events. Witoldo participated in the public hearings held at the Sports Commission of the Chamber of Deputies where subjects for the legalization of online gambling in Brazil were discussed. He also served as a specialist speaker at the Commission for the analysis of Draft Laws 442/91 and 2,303/15, in Brasilia.
