Clarion announces next edition of BgC in Sao Paulo for December 7 and 8

Clarion Gaming and Clarion Events Brasil announced the seventh edition of the Brazilian Gaming Congress, BgC 2020. The event, which since 2013 has been debating the regulation of the gambling market in Brazil, takes place on December 7 and 8 at the Hotel Tivoli Mofarrej, in Sao Paulo. At the ame venue, on Sunday 6 will take place the second edition of the Sao Paulo Affiliate Conference (SPAC), an event focused on affiliate marketing for the gaming market.

In addition to discussing the laws dealing with the release of modalities such as casinos, bingos, jogo do bicho and online gaming, the event will also address fixed-odds sports betting, approved in December 2018 and in the process of being regulated by the Ministry of Economy.

“Our team has already started research to build the event's agenda, but, as usual, in addition to an excellent networking opportunity for those who already operate or intend to enter the gaming market, BgC should address issues related to the sector, such as legislation, taxation, inspection, advertising, player protection, compliance and more,” explains Sergio Jardim, general director of Clarion Events Brasil, noting that the development of the sector will gain even greater importance due to the demand for economic recovery in Covid's post-pandemic -19.

The BgC brings together, among exhibitors, speakers and congressmen, some of the main global players in the sector as operators, suppliers, regulators, legislators, associations and specialized media.

Affiliate Marketing

On Sunday, December 6th, the eve of BgC, also at the Tivoli Mofarrej, the second edition of the Sao Paulo Affiliate Conference (SPAC) will take place, an event focused on affiliation marketing for the gaming market. Extremely popular in other countries like the United Kingdom, for example, affiliate marketing for gaming has a sea of opportunities even with a regulatory scenario still very closed like that of Brazil.

“It is important that those interested in this sector are prepared, because the moment the regulation comes out, the opportunities will grow exponentially,” highlights Sergio Jardim.

According to Jardim, Clarion is studying the creation of an online content schedule that, together with the physical event agenda, will be able to cover the largest possible audience, providing from sessions for beginners to Master Class level training.
