Galera Group gave up space in Corinthians jersey while fans choose name of bookmaker site

On the return of the Paulista Championship, Corinthians displayed the Riachuelo (fashion retail) brand on the sleeves of its jersey on Wednesday night against Palmeiras. Although that space belongs to the sports betting site Galera, the Israeli group gave it up for this specific action of the club with Riachuelo since the name of the site chosen by Timao fans should be displayed there in a vote that has not yet finished.

Corinthians entered the pitch this Wednesday (22) with the Riachuelo brand on the sleeves of its uniform. This is a one-time partnership, which marked the beginning of an action between the club and the company focused on Father's Day.

After the brand exposure on the shirt, the priority will become the social networks of the São Paulo team. The idea of Riachuelo is to do a series of actions with the club to encourage sales for the date, which this year will be celebrated on the next 9th of August.

On the team's website, Corinthians pointed out the desire to maintain the partnership with the fashion retail brand. "Corinthians salutes and thanks Riachuelo and expects these to be the first of several synergistic actions between the brand and the institution," stated the team's president, Andrés Sanchez.

The club also took the opportunity to thank the Galera Group, the team's new sponsor, who will display the name Galera.bet on the shirt. The betting site holds the space for the sleeves but has given up the property for the punctual action with Riachuelo. The Israeli company is taking a virtual vote to choose the name and logo of the betting platform that will be in Corinthians uniform.
