Understanding the importance of the amateur teams in the football ecosystem, Betclic has decided to support 20 Portuguese teams during the 2020-2021 season by giving them equipment, football development grants to mitigate operational costs, visibility through our social networks, etc”, says Domingues.
The company launches a special website for this new campaign and proposes to return to its origins, playing only for the pleasure of playing: Football in the Pure State’. “Here training is until late after work, the games are always on Sunday afternoons, as tradition dictates. It is not because they are amateurs that they do not deserve professional equipment. The betting site will award 20 football teams and offer 20 complete equipment (main and alternative) and sports development grants. Everything for Futebol Bonito 2020.
Simão Sabrosa will be the Ambassador and will accompany the entire process of the 20 teams. For the company, the star is the ideal leader of the campaign and he is one of the players who best represented this style in Portugal and abroad.
The teams can apply through a special website, and the participation timings will be as follows:
- 28 July to 19 August: Registration on the website
- 20 August: Dissemination of the 20 teams
- 21 to 31 August: Collection of equipment numbers and models
- 1 to 14 September: Delivery of equipment
Each selected club will receive a main and an alternative equipment, but Betclic does not stop there. Betting on the future and sustainability of amateur sports projects, each team will receive a sports development grant to minimize the jitters of this long season that lies ahead.
The talent will not be limited to action on the pitch, as Betclic will also give stage to Futebol Bonito on social networks where thousands of people can see the plays with artistic note. It is just necessary to use the hashtag #apostanofuturo when posting photos or videos.
