Clarion Events announces BgC 2020 macro topics

The gaming and sports betting sector has a must-attend event next December 7-8 in Sao Paulo, the Brazilian Gaming Congress - BgC 2020. For this already traditional meeting point, Clarion anticipates the central topics that will be discussed during this year’s edition at the Hotel Tivoli Mofarrej. The legal scenario and alternatives to the regulatory framework are just one of the macro themes on the agenda foreseen by the organizers who provide more information on the event’s official website.

BgC is the only event in the country that pits national and international players and more than 400 professionals and authorities in the sector, including exhibitors, speakers and congressmen, operators, suppliers, regulators, legislators, associations and specialized media.

The macro topics that will shape the agenda of this edition are:

  • Legal scenario: are there alternatives to the Regulatory Framework?
  • Feasibility studies: playing "the real" on the different verticals
  •  Neither "thing of the devil" nor form of corruption: strategy to combat the stigma of gambling;
  • Brazilian Player Census: far beyond the "half dozen" that goes to Las Vegas;
  • "MBA in Brazilian Gaming Market": what do you need in this curriculum?

The last edition brought together more than 400 participants with 22 exhibiting/sponsoring brands. The event had 10 lectures and 38 experts invited to share knowledge and debate.

In addition to discussing the laws dealing with the release of sports such as casinos, bingos, jogo do bicho and online gaming, the event will also address fixed-odd sports betting, approved in December 2018 and in the process of being regulated by the Ministry of Economy.

The event, which has been debating the regulation of the gambling market in Brazil since 2013, takes place on December 7 and 8 at the Hotel Tivoli Mofarrej, in the capital of Sao Paulo. In the same place, but the day before (Sunday 6), it will take place the second edition of the Sao Paulo Affiliate Conference - SPAC, focused on affiliate marketing for the gaming industry.

Extremely popular in other countries such as the United Kingdom, for example, affiliate marketing for gaming has a sea of opportunities even with a regulatory scenario still very closed like that of Brazil.
