LatAm day at the online event

ESI Digital Summer dedicates panels to success of CS:GO in Brazil and eSports betting

With the continued emphasis being placed on Latin America's position as a leader in the industry, the ESI (eSports Insider) Digital Sumer LATAM conference, scheduled for today, will include mobile eSports, CS:GO’s huge presence and fanbase in Brazil (with Leo De Biase, Co-Founder of BBL), and eSports betting among other topics. Betcris and Sportradar will integrate some of the panels. Online event starts at 10.00 until 19.15 (Brasilia time).

ESI Digital Summer introduces 5 consecutive days of content (35+ live hours) wherein each day will focus on a different and important regional market for the esports industry exploring a uniquely tailored agenda and networking day (including making each locally time zone friendly) for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and North America.

For one of the fastest growing regions in the industry, LatAm day’s topics will include today mobile esports, CS:GO’s huge presence and fanbase in Brazil, and a select number of ESI Brand Showcases featuring case studies of local sponsorships done the right way.

Often referred to as the "gold rush" of the sports gambling market, Latin America is poised to play an essential role in the evolution of the industry. The world of eSports, in particular, is growing exponentially, gaining substantial exposure worldwide with tournaments in popular games like CS: GO and Fortnite, and creating a huge impact on that growth.

Leo De Biase, Co-Founder, BBL, Chico Tattini, Head of Partnerships, INTZ and Miah Campos, Gaming and Esports Director, DC Set, will talk on panel CS:GO Mania In Brazil:- How, Why And What's Next? from 15.30 (Brasilia time).

Painel will take a look at the unwavering and absolute love that Brazil has for CounterStrike. Neymar, who boasts more than 900 hours game time, playing with both coldzera and FalleN in 2018 certainly didn't hurt, but this runs deeper; it's a hugely popular game throughout Brazil, and the success of the likes of MIBR is a major factor in it.

Bad Boy Leroy (BBL) is a Brazilian entertainment company focused on partnerships and performance, encompassing the operation and creation of eSports tournaments and the production of video game events, working with companies such as Claro, Fanta, Nissin, and Intel.

The company’s headquarters houses six broadcast studios and a massive eSports arena. BBL holds the exclusive license in Brazil for ESL, the world’s largest producer of eSports content and both companies collaborate often to produce events for competitive gamers. De Biase’s organisation employs hundreds of employees across its endeavours.

Juan Matias Méndez, Integrity & Business Development Manager at Sportradar, will be speaking earlier (13:30-14:15) on panel “Latam: The New Esports Goldmine?” and Betcris, the leading sports gambling and online gaming operator for Latin America, will participate in the conference “eSports Betting In Latin America” (17:30-18:15), represented by the company's head of business development, Fernando Garita.

Along with Garita, CEO Steven Salz of Rivalry and Mobadoo Sales Director Alejandro Kowalski have been confirmed as speakers for the panel. In addition, Latam Media Group's eSports manager, Pablo Monti, will participate, and will also moderate the gathering.
