For the broadcast of races abroad, one of the requirements is that professionals are dressed according to the standards of European and American racetracks.
There is an expectation that the ‘Protetora do Turfe’ meeting will serve as a kind of test, remembering that the measure tends to increase the club's revenues, which would allow the board to invest in more races or increase prizes.
The ‘GP Protetora do Turfe’ is a special date for the JCRGS, with several owners reinforcing their teams and coaches adjusting their pupils for the main events of the festival. This year, the event will take place on September 11th.
The president of the Rio Grande do Sul Jockey Club, José Vecchio Filho, commented to GMB that “we are still in the articulation of the technical feasibility that will be resolved this week” and that in the coming days everything must be done for the events to gain international broadcast and make it possible for JCRGS to increase its revenues, awards and prizes.
