Betcris and Ronaldinho relaunch partnership with advertising boards at Brasileirao and special video

Betcris, one of the leading bookmakers in Latin America, resumes its partnership with Ronaldinho after the return of the star from Paraguay. To strengthen its presence in Brazil, this Sunday the brand relaunched the image of the idol on pitch-side LED advertising boards during Flamengo's victory against Santos with the legend “O Ronaldinho voltou ao Brasileirao” (Ronaldinho returned to Brasileirao). To complement, R10 uploaded a special video to his networks restarting a new stage between the idol and Betcris.

Betcris had started a brand exhibition plan at the Brasileirao with a presence on fixed advertising boards in all the tournament games and on the LEDs of the matches that are broadcast by Globo network. “Now that R10 is free and discharged from everything, we are using him to amplify our message in Brazil, and Santos-Flamengo was an ideal match to start with,” says Aurélien Lohrer, Marketing Director of Betcris, exclusively for Games Magazine Brasil.


                                                          


Since October 2019, the former Brazilian midfielder has represented the bookmaker on his main digital platforms, in which the athlete has more than 100 million followers. The contract includes the entire audience of Ronaldinho, as well as the right to intellectual property in the markets in which Betcris operates.

“Betcris signed Ronaldinho the soccer legend, the player that excited the public by his talent and technic. That's what Betcris wants to reflect. He is a reference in his sport and we aim to be in our industry. Basically we do a parallele between his player's career and image and what Betcris want to be,” explains Lohrer.


                                                       


At the same time that R10 could be seen on the advertising boards in the Santos and Flamengo game, the former star of Barcelona uploaded on his social networks a video made by Betcris a few months ago where he was practicing multiple disciplines. “There are so many sports to bet on @betcrishispano that I couldn't resist playing some of them. What could I have played instead of football?”, says Ronaldninho on his Instagram post that was seen by 450,000 people.

“R10 is talking to everyone in Brazil and we are doing the same with our advertising. We are talking to every fans, every sports... you dont have the same effect if you are signing a club,” states the CMO of Betcris, that decided not to sponsor teams to cover all fans without distinction.


                                                         


The partnership represents a great opportunity for the betting company, as commented JD Duarte, general manager of Betcris: “We are very excited to be able to work with Ronaldinho, one of the best ever! Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, better known as "Ronaldinho Gaúcho", is considered one of the best players of all time, being included in the FIFA 100 list, which mentions the most important players in history. During his successful career, he started at Grêmio de Porto Alegre, his homeland, and played in top-level clubs like F.C. Barcelona, A.C. Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
