According to Febralot, until today Caixa has not yet informed them clearly whether lottery retailers will be able to sell the product in their stores by receiving commission.
Jodismar Amaro, president of Febralot, says that he sent a letter to the bank asking for a definitive position, but got no response yet.
When contacted by Folha de S.Paulo's Painel S.A. column, Caixa did not comment.
It is worth remembering that during the third webinar of the “Agora Brasil” cycle, organized by GMB, Roberto Quattrini, Country Manager at IGT and representative of the Estrela Instantânea Consortium with Scientific Games, stated that the crisis generated by COVID-19 delayed the LOTEX launch plans.
