As a special advisor, Jordan will provide strategic and creative input to the board of directors on company strategy, product development, inclusion, equity and belonging, marketing activities and other key initiatives. Jordan’s status as special advisor to DraftKings’ board of directors is effective immediately.
Shares of DraftKings jumped 13% in premarket trading after the company announced that Michael Jordan is joining the betting company as a special advisor.
The assist from the Chicago Bulls icon will likely come as welcome addition to the DraftKings team.
