Brazilian eSports teams and athletes in the Top 10 of topics more commented on Twitter in 2020

2020 was the year when games were talked about the most on Twitter. More than 2 billion Tweets were recorded worldwide on the subject. This number represents a growth of 75% in relation to 2019, with an increase of almost 50% when it comes to unique authors. To give an idea, the topic was the sixth most commented one on the platform over the past year.

Brazil continues to be one of the countries that talks most about games, in fourth place. Japan, United States and South Korea, respectively, appear in the Top 3. According to a survey of the platform, the number of Tweets on the subject doubled in the country in 2020 compared to the previous year.
