Betway renews sponsorship agreement with Brazil’s MIBR

Bookmaker Betway and the Brazilian sports organization MIBR announced the extension of their sponsorship agreement to 2021. The renewal marks the fourth consecutive year that Betway has partnered with the CS: GO sports brand from Immortals Gaming Club. According to the statement, the deal will allow the two entities to continue collaborating on content and activations throughout the year. Betway is currently the longest MIBR and IGC partnership to date.

In 2020, two exhibition events entitled ‘MIBR Stars - Brought to you by Betway’ and ‘Lobby das Estrelas’ were presented by the companies. The events saw MIBR's CS: GO players and influencers compete against each other on a variety of fan-favorite maps.

Adam Savinson, Director of eSports at Betway, said: “In 2018, we had the great honor of becoming a founding partner of MIBR, helping to relaunch this legendary brand. Today, we are renewing our agreement to continue our fantastic relationship, at a really exciting time. We look forward to continuing to provide great ideas and entertainment for CS: GO fans in Brazil and around the world.”

Betway will continue to be featured in the front part of MIBR jerseys as a result of the renewal. In addition, the gambling company continues to sit alongside the Brazilian multiplayer platform Gamers Club, Ironclad, All33 and Overlock as partners in the organization.

Yuri “Fly” Uchiyama, Director of MIBR, spoke about the agreement: “We are very happy to continue our partnership with Betway. As MIBR prepares itself again to play in the biggest tournaments in the world, our partnership with Betway and its continued support to the CS: GO community, particularly in Brazil, has helped us to grow the largest and most passionate and engaged fan base in the world. We look forward to working with Betway to continue to build and develop new fans and future talent.”
