Government of Sao Paulo announces Free Fire and FIFA championship

The Sports Department of the State of Sao Paulo announces that will take place the Sao Paulo eSports Games, a championship created with the purpose of promoting the practice of eSports in the student community in a competitive and educational way. Registration is free and involves Fifa 21 and Free Fire competitions. Registration for both modalities will start on January 10th and remain open until the 28th.

The Championship is completely online and free for all students in the state of Sao Paulo over 14 years old, from elementary, high school to university, from public or private schools and was created with the aim of bringing fun to young people.

With Fifa 21 and Free Fire competitions, the championship will have no sponsors or awards for the participants, seeking to identify promising youngsters in these modalities and to foster the eSports market with new talents.

Registration for both modalities will start on January 10th and remain open until the 28th. During this period, the team pre-registers, which goes through an analysis in up to 5 working days, checking that everyone is within the rules only then to be confirmed, after this period, the team will be able to check the status of their registration on the website.

Fifa 21 will have three stages, namely the Group Stage, Playoffs and Final. Free Fire will have four phases, namely the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Qualifying and the Final Phase. Both start on February 6th.

Students can check the regulations of the two modalities and register on the official website of the championship or through the application that will be available soon.
