GMB - With what expectations does NetBet start 2021, after such a special year affected by the pandemic?
Marsio Schneider - 2020 cannot be forgotten, but as a great teacher, who taught us to be resilient, flexible, fast and how important it is to have a well-structured team that responds quickly to changes. Let us consider it an excellent year, which, despite so many difficulties, was a year of growth, maturation, positioning and increased relationship with our users.
For 2021 we expect the regulation of the betting sector in Brazil, but while this does not happen, we continue to work hard to always deliver the best for our players.
Is your company better prepared than before to deal with outbreaks or the continuation of the pandemic? Will there be a change in strategy?
Certainly, in these times of difficulty they are the ones that prepare us and strengthen us the most. We are increasingly prepared and confident in the growth of our business in Brazil. The objective remains the same, the strategies continue to be improved day by day. It is at these times that we need to move forward and improve all processes.
What projects / ideas is NetBet working on to launch this year?
We have many surprises and cards up our sleeve for 2021. But, without spoilers ... lol. We will definitely make some noise and bring a lot of entertainment to our users. And that is all I can say at the moment.
Do you believe that the penetration of online gambling will increase while the land-based will maintain its limitations on public entry?
I believe that online gambling only tends to grow. When the land-based gaming returns, surely the online sector will also tend to grow. It is a path of no return.
Do you think that this year in Brazil there will be a definite takeoff towards a regulated gambling market? Will NetBet's presence / investment grow in the country throughout 2021?
We are anticipating more and more investments. We hope that regulation will happen and that companies that work correctly will benefit.
