The company also detailed that the provisional results for the fourth quarter showed an improvement in relation to the budget, with an income that varies between US$ 94 million and US$ 98 million. Initially, sales in this period were expected to be between US$80 and US$85 million. At the end of September 2020, the red numbers totaled US$ 404 million.
"FuboTV's strong preliminary results in the fourth quarter of 2020 exceeded what was already expected to be a record year for the company and demonstrate continued consumer enthusiasm for our offering," commented FuboTV co-founder and CEO David Gandler.
In November, the streaming service announced expansion plans that will involve a focus on sports betting. The company recently raised US$ 188 million from its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.
Now, FuboTV hopes to combine sports betting with what it calls the “leading live sports streaming package.”
