Discussions about the approval of a regulatory framework for gaming in Brazil and the imminent regulation of sports betting are opening the doors to what already promises to be the biggest event in the sector in the country, after a long time without in-person exhibitions and congresses. The Brazilian iGaming Summit, which will take place on December 1st and 2nd at Espaço Boulevard JK, in São Paulo, already has the support of important players in the world's gaming and betting industry, aware of what promises to be one of the largest markets in the world.

The agenda for the event is practically ready, but in the face of requests for prior dissemination of the content, BiS’ organizers present the first version of the schedule of activities, since only two or three lectures are yet to be confirmed.

In addition to the grid of panels and lectures, a welcome cocktail for participants is scheduled for 7:00 pm on November 30, the day before the event itself, with all the sanitary protocols required by the Brazilian authorities. It will be one of the important moments for networking and for congressmen, exhibitors and speakers to “get in the mood” of a face-to-face event about games and betting in Brazil.

The congress itself is willing to address issues ranging from the role of brand ambassadors to panels with providers, affiliates, legal and compliance issues and commercial and economic aspects of the gaming activity in Brazil.

Among the relevant issues, BiS will not leave aside the approval of a regulatory framework for gaming in Brazil and the expansion of the lottery market, with the emergence of several state entities after the end of the Union's monopoly in the operation of lottery modalities.

The government will also be present, with panels with the presence of authorities from the Ministry of Economy's Secretariat for Evaluation and Lotteries, such as Gustavo Guimarães and Waldir Marques Jr, Secretary and Undersecretary of SECAP.

Previously, at similar events, the focus was more on regulatory issues. With the government's progress towards creating an environment conducive to the healthy exploitation of the market, these guidelines, despite remaining on the agenda, gave a little space to other points that are also essential for the sector to move forward correctly.
