EstrelaBet expands partnership with Botafogo, becomes club's master sponsor

Botafogo announced that EstrelaBet, which was present at the shirt sleeves, is now positioned in the noblest space, as the team's master sponsor. The new contract is valid until the end of 2022. The partnership began last September and, according to GE, it has already generated around R$7 million (US$1.3m) to the club's coffers during the season. The debut took place in the game against Operário and it was with great success as Botafogo guaranteed early access to Serie A.

Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas has a new master sponsor. This is EstrelaBet, a brand belonging to the Stars Group and one of the largest betting houses in Brazil, which has been experiencing strong growth. The new deal is valid until the end of 2022. The official presentation was made completely digitally on social networks and featured a campaign created to involve the ‘Alvinegro’ fans.

With the success of the partnership and the result far beyond expectations, the company's logo, which previously occupied the sleeves of shirts, is now present in the most noble space of the uniform. The debut took place in this Monday's game (15), against Operário, valid for the Brazilian Série B, in which the team won (2 x 1) and guaranteed early access to Série A .

In addition to stamping the logo on the front of the professional team's uniform, EstrelaBet will have several exposure properties at the club, content creation, digital platforms, actions with athletes and also at Nilton Santos Stadium. The commitment also extends and will be valid for the master ownership of the uniform of the Under-20 category of men's football. The agreement had the support of the Monday Marketing Esportivo agency.

The synergy between the duo is great, as Botafogo has “Estrela” (a star) in its shield and EstrelaBet in its name. In these few months of partnership, the club and the company launched together memorable campaigns such as “Vacine-se”, an incentive for vaccination in Brazil, which created a huge bond between the brand and the fans. For Lenin Franco, Business Director of Botafogo, it is a great pride to bring this noble sponsorship to ‘Glorioso’.

Although Botafogo does not confirm the contract values, the website fogaonet.com highlighted that “Botafogo's contracts with EstrelaBet before it became the club's master sponsor have brought the club's coffers about R$ 7 million (US$1.3m) this season, reported GE.
