More than 120 companies confirmed their presence at the Brazilian iGaming Summit

Considering sponsors, speakers and visitors, the organizers of the first edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) confirmed that more than 120 companies from the national and international market have confirmed their presence next week (December 1-2) in São Paulo. The expectation is that the only sports betting and iGaming event to take place in person in 2021 will become the largest ever held in Brazil.

With Brazil consolidating itself as a leader in the betting, lotteries and affiliation segment, several world players will closely monitor all the steps and news that the event will provide.

The conference will provide very important content, adjusted to the demands of the national public, in addition to exhibitions, seminars and the ideal environment to revive networking between influential market figures, authorities, experienced professionals and new leaders in this rapidly growing industry in the country. For this and much more, representatives of leading companies of the industry have already confirmed their presence.

Brazilian iGaming Summit first day schedule

According to the official schedule, the program starts on Wednesday, December 1st, with a speech by Alessandro Valente (Super Afiliados) at 9:00 am, welcoming guests. Afterwards, Gustavo José de Guimarães e Souza (Secretary of Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery at the Ministry of Economy) will give the opening lecture entitled: “The Positive Impact of the Gaming Sector on the Brazilian Economy.”

The first panel will address the performance and responsibilities of official ambassadors of brands who are already or intend to enter the country.

At 10 am, Leonardo Baptista (CEO, Pay4Fun) and Fabrício Murakami (CMO, Pay4Fun) will present a seminar on “Brazilian intelligence to succeed in business”.

Later, Alex W. Pariente (Senior Vice President, Hard Rock Hotels Casinos) will speak about the “Impact of casinos on resorts in the world and the perspective for Brazil”.

Marcello M. Corrêa (Loterj), Antônio de Jesus Leitão Nunes (Maranhão Partnerships), Karen Sierra Hughes (GLI) and Roberto Brasil Fernandes (Brasil Fernandes Advogados) will discuss the perspectives surrounding the “Regulation of Lotteries in Brazil”. The last panel of the morning will focus on “Entrepreneurial Vision of Lotteries in Brazil” with Roberto Brasil Fernandes, Alexandre Tauszig (SkilRock Technologies) and Sergio Alvarenga (Intralot Brasil).

BiS will return with a lecture by Victor Arias (Pragmatic Play) on “The importance of the variety of games in the Brazilian market”. The theme “What the Law allows and is not explored” will be explored by Luiz Felipe Maia (FYMSA Advogados), Rodrigo Garrido (professional poker player) and Wiitoldo Hendrich (Online IPS).

Other types of games and the current Brazilian scenario will be the subject of a panel composed of Alberto Alfieri (Salsa Technology), Thomas Carvalhaes (Hero Gaming) and Sergio Garcia Alves (Abdala Advogados).

Then, Natalia Nogues (Ctrl F5), Luis Fiorese (TacTic Sports & Entertainment) and Angelo Alberoni (Betcris) will point out the “Differentials of successful operators in Brazil”. The first day will end with the lecture “Responsible Gaming and its obligations” promoted by André Gelfi (Betsson Group).

Brazilian iGaming Awards

The event that will close the day will be the first edition of the Brazilian iGaming Awards, which will award the brands and professionals who stood out throughout the year on the national scene. Altogether, the award will feature 14 categories and will take place at the Sky Hall Terrace Bar.

Second day schedule

Thursday, 2nd will begin with a panel on a current hot topic: “Regulation – The positive aspects of Regulation (Contracting, Economy, Tourism) with the participation of Luiz Felipe Maia (FYMSA Advogados), Magno José (president of the IJL), federal deputy Bacelar and Waldir Eustáquio Marques Jr (Subsecretary of Awards and Drawings of the National Public Policy, Planning, Energy and Lottery of the Ministry of Economy).

The importance of Cyber ​​Security – Game Security will be detailed by Gilson Banin (Microsoft), Henrique Costa (Pay4Fun) and Leonardo Baptista (CEO, Pay4Fun).

Later, Fernando Gonçalves (FGO Legal) Ari Celia (Pay4Fun), Marlon Tseng (PagSmile) and Fabio Tiberia (International iGaming Consultant) will be on the panel “Payments in Brazil / Legality and Compliance”.

The morning activities of the second day of BiS will end with a round table focused on “Game Providers” formed by Peter Nolte (Salsa Tecnnology), Erick Mendes (Evolution), André Schuartz (Pipa Games), Ramiro Atucha (Vibra Gaming), Jesus Rafael Campos (BetConnections) and Johnny Ortiz (Zitro).

The event will be resumed with the panel focused on the affiliate market, which will have Pedro Lucas (Super Afiliados), Flavio Raimundo (Afiliados Brasil), Aberlardo Dantas (Affiliate) and Pedro Philipi (Affiliate). The lecture on “The need for multiple providers for the success of the operation” will be presented by Sebastian Perrier (BetConstruct).

The last panel will focus on the work of the “Sports Betting Operators”, being moderated by Alessandro Valente (SuperAfiliados), in addition to the participation of João André Franco (EstrelaBet), Fernando Garita (Betcris) and Juan Jose Mantese (Meridian Gaming ).

 

 

All about the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS)

Due to the health crisis, several events, trade shows and congresses had to be postponed or even canceled throughout 2020 and 2021; however, with the advance of immunization across the country, things are slowly returning to normality. Thus, the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) will take place at Espaço Boulevard JK, in São Paulo, on December 1st and 2nd with the strategic partnership of Games Magazine Brasil, and will be attended by investors and entrepreneurs from diferente sectors such as sports betting, communication, affiliates, lotteries and regulators.
