Educating bettors and taking care of affiliates lead the market to a faster development

On the ‘Affiliate Models in a Successful Market’ panel, Flavio Raimundo, director of Afiliados Brasil, led the conversation between Pedro Lucas, CEO of Apostaonline.com and head of affiliation at Super Afialiados; Ricardo Magri, from Eightroom agency, and affiliates Pedro Feitosa and Abelardo Dantas, who showed the advantages, the experiences that have already paid off and the prospects for the future of affiliation in Brazil’s gaming market.

Flavio Raimundo opened the panel by explaining what an affiliate is saying that he is a "perfect employee" who earns according to his production, does not bring costs with labor rights, however, he must be treated with respect and assistance in all aspects, because he is committed to the result and can quickly migrate to another company.

“Whoever opens an affiliation here; treat your affiliate well. Because as I said, he is a perfect employee, but for him to change company is a click. The affiliate has an affinity with money, not chat. If you treat the affiliate with respect, pay well, follow the agreements, you will have the perfect employee for many years to come,” said the moderator.

Affiliate Abelardo Dantas was the first to explain his experience with the activity. According to him, the best areas where he can work as an affiliate are beauty/slimming; sexual health and extra income (making money), the latter is what fits the gaming market; finally, he reported his daily life.

“Just as the affiliate is a perfect employee; so is affiliate work. I work when I want, the way I want and with the results I have today, I can choose. The operator looks for me, I give my price and we can work together,” he said.

Pedro Feitosa, affiliate and sports betting trader, highlighted the importance of content production by operators mainly for social networks, which is where people spend most of their time today, and to educate potential bettors who visit the sites and not know exactly what betting is.

“The social network is very important and little used by operators. They need to have communicators on their profiles talking directly to their customers, showing what all possible moves are like, what casino is. The vast majority of visitors don't even know what to bet; sometimes they come because they like football, for recreation, and when they see a betting site, they don't know what happens and almost no one has an explanation for that,” he concluded.

Ricardo Magri, from Eightroom, spoke about the importance of the industry adapting to different types of affiliation models. "Many people think that our sector is still moving forward in this activity, but when we develop this part of affiliation and the models fit, the industry will also develop."

Following Magri's thoughts, Pedro Lucas, CEO of Apostaonline.com and head of affiliation at Super Afialiados, highlighted the importance of adapting the models and having operators and affiliates working together.

“Everyone's goal is to get more, better players and profit for everyone. In this case, there must be a partnership between the operators and the affiliate,” he concluded.
