Alberto Alfieri takes over Salsa's operations to boost company's expansion

The specialist in the iGaming sector, Alberto Alfieri, is the new chief operating officer of Salsa Technology and arrives at the company with the mission of boosting the firm's growth strategy. As COO (Chief Operating Officer), Alfieri must consolidate Salsa Technology's position at the forefront of the Latin American market and, at the same time, expand the company's operations in Europe. Alfieri will lead commercial, product development and talent acquisition projects.

The executive has more than 12 years of a very successful trajectory in the world of iGaming, from the beginning when he played numerous roles at bet365, with a primary focus on product and player protection. The managerial roles followed when he took on, at Mr Green, Malta, the challenge of creating and leading the CRM strategy and department, as well as the VIP client management team.

Since 2016, he has held COO and CEO positions at Redbet / Evoke Gaming, Bet.pt, Vivagol and Gamingtec. These functions helped Alfieri to develop a rich knowledge of Brazil, South America, and Africa, adding even more know-how to his already consolidated experience in the European markets.

"Salsa Technology's growth has been exceptional, and it is an honor to have this opportunity to play such an important role in the next chapters of the company," said Alfieri.

“The focus will be on strengthening Salsa's market leadership position in Latin America and accelerating the progress of expansion in Europe through the omni-channel platform and the Games Aggregator Platform, which even has proprietary content. We will also expand the range of tools we offer to our customers so that the products guarantee the protection of the players,” added Alfieri.

Alfieri arrives at Salsa shortly after the company signed another significant contract in February, when it welcomed its new CTO, Josh Tromans-Jones. "I have known our newly hired CTO Tromans-Jones for some time, and we share the same vision and objectives, so the collaboration will be total in order to fully meet Salsa's ambitions," he concluded.

Salsa Technology's CEO, Peter Nolte, added: "I couldn't be happier to have brought Alberto to the company, a professional whose talent and way of leading operations leaves us perfectly positioned to fulfill our growth strategy."
