Cartola is a fantasy game created by Brazilian media giant Globo in 2005 that allows the player to create a team and scale the players and receive points according to their performance in real life.
Despite having undergone several changes over the years, Cartola has always only contemplated the first division Brazilian Championship, the Brasileirão.
But in 2022 Cartola Express, the shorter and paid version of the game, will bring a special World Cup mode. Globo has not yet explained how the new dynamics will work, but it is certain that the service subscriber will be able to select the players of the national teams that will compete in the Cup in Qatar.
Therefore, players such as Neymar, Messi, Mbappé and Cristiano Ronaldo, among many others, can be selected in the Cup matches.
There will be four games per day and 16 games per round, it remains to be seen how the fantasy game rounds scheme will work. Definitive information should be published in the coming weeks.
