An important agenda awaits those interested in the regulation of new markets in Latin America during the SBC Summit Latinoamérica conference and fair, this November 1-3 in Florida.
To discuss the sector in the region, with topics ranging from regulation to taxation, through advertising, sponsorship and responsible gambling, among other themes, will be held a Masterclass from IMGL - International Masters of Gaming Law. It will bring together Luiz Felipe Maia, partner at Maia Yoshiyasu studio, and Carlos Baeza, lawyer and director of Latamwin, recently incorporated as a member of IMGL. They will discuss the Latin market along with Tomas Enrique Garcia Botta (MF Estudio Abogados) and Cristina Romero de Alba (Loyra).
The SBC Summit Latinoamérica is one of the main centers of discussion on the Latin gaming market and, in this edition, will take place from November 1 to 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood, Florida. The IMGL Masterclass with Maia and Baeza will take place on November 2 from 12:00 to 12:40 in conference room 1 of the SBC Summit Latinoamérica.
Luiz Felipe Maia said he would like to bring to the meeting government decisions about the gaming sector in Brazil, "but unfortunately they have not yet arrived. Anyway, we will discuss the current stage and the perspectives we see, since we have the definition of the presidential elections in Brazil," commented to GMB.
Carlos Baeza commented that "it will be an interesting conversation, where we will talk about the current regulatory scenario in different markets and the challenges they present for the industry, as well as other topics.
