The EGR Awards is one of the largest and most important awards in the iGaming industry. The 2022 edition took place on October 27 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, and brought together operators and affiliate companies to crown the highlights of the year.
The big winner of the night was Leadstar Media, the Swedish company that took the coveted title of ‘Affiliate of the Year’. To decide the winner of this category, the judges took into account, among other factors, quality, growth and commercial partnerships.
"The judges reward the affiliate that stood out among its competitors through innovation, traffic generation, growth and the ability to develop strong business partnerships," the EGR Award organization said.
Leadstar Media has over 50 iGaming affiliation sites in more than 25 countries. In Brazil, the Swedish company operates SitedeApostas.com, BonusdeApostas.com, AplicativosdeApostas.com and
ApostasBrasil.com.
Even though it already has four products in the Brazilian market, Leadstar Media has plans to expand its portfolio in the country, and its next launch will be later this month. The focus of website JogosdeApostas.com will be on virtual sports, which is the fastest growing betting segment in Brazil.
On the award, Eskil Kvarnström, CEO of Leadstar Media, said that "considering the parameters used by the judges, we are honored to receive this award. Leadstar Media was also a finalist in two other categories, the ‘Sports Affiliate of the Year’ and ‘Employer of the Year’ awards.
