The lawyer, economist and professor Jaques Reolon, VP of Jacoby Fernandes & Reolon Advogados Associados, has just released the second edition of his book “Casinos, Gambling and Lotteries – Liberation in Brazil."

The book deals with technical and legal topics about the gaming sector, but was written with colloquial language to allow an easy reading by the various professionals or companies that can benefit from the release of the economic activity of the sector in Brazil.

The author explains, in detail and easy, what is gambling in Brazil, which are legal and which still need law to be explored. It describes the opportunities for liberal professionals and entrepreneurs and expectations about the fixed quota lottery (sports betting).

In the book, Reolon describes how states can operate their lotteries (granting, outsourcing or denationalization and/or using PMI or MIP).

He analyzes the main points of the bills, in the House and Senate, in particular the Bill 442/01, approved in the House, and which is in the Senate waiting for definition.

Another point that Reolon highlights in his book is the opportunities in the infrastructure, hospitality and other economic sectors that will be affected by legalization.

The author has extensive experience in issues related to Brazilian public management, having already held positions in the Court of Auditors and the Public Prosecutor's Office, as well as a solid career in the private sector. He is the author of several books on topics related to public management.

The book is available in ebook format in Portuguese, English and Spanish and can be found on Amazon.
