In a meeting held in Belo Horizonte, Loteria Mineira (LEMG) and the Union of the Lottery of Minas Gerais (Sincoemg) strengthened their partnership and reiterated their intention to act on agendas common to the two entities. Among the issues, it is worth mentioning the desire to resume the commercialization of LEMG games in lottery stores.

Loteria Mineira (LEMG) and the Union of the Lottery of Minas Gerais (Sincoemg) met in the Administrative City in Belo Horizonte, with the aim of close the relationship between the parties and aligning common agendas. Among the issues dealt with, it is worth mentioning the desire to resume the sharing of the sales counter of Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF), that is, the commercialization of LEMG games in lottery stores, which ceased to occur from 2010 due to the end of an agreement. For this, understanding between the three institutions is necessary, which is what is being sought.

The Director General of LEMG, Ronan Moreira, recalled that, historically, lotteries have always been of paramount importance for the commercialization of games, which, in turn, represent a relevant source of revenue from the government of Minas Gerais for the application of resources in social programs. Only in the last three and a half years, LEMG approved the allocation of R$ 80 million (US$ 15.5m) for welfare projects in the State of Minas Gerais.

He presented the structure of LEMG, stressed the commitment of the municipality to compliance and legal certainty and also claimed that the partnership between Loteria Mineira and Caixa has many advantages and benefits for the two institutions, such as additional gains for CEF retailers; better use of commercial and logistics structures, promoting the optimization of processes; sharing of production and management processes; sum of skills and generation of competitive differential; and expansion of business.

The president of Sincoemg, Paulo César da Silva, considered this approach very positive and vowed that LEMG games will be marketed again in the more than 1,700 points represented by the union throughout the state, ensuring more diversity of products and possibility of gains for lottery stores.

For Loteria Mineira participated in the meeting, in addition to the Director General, the director of planning, management and finance, Cyntia Valle, and the legal attorney, Robstaine Costa. Accompanying the president of Sincoemg was the legal advisor of the entity, Marco Vinício de Sá.
