“For iSoftBet, Brazil would quickly become a key global online casino market”

Lars Kollind, Head of Business Development for iSoftBet, gave an exclusive interview to CASINO Magazine to talk about the provider's projects and ambitions. The executive believes that the potential for markets such as Brazil, Peru and Chile to really adopt online casino regulation is huge, adding great excitement to the region. “Brazil in particular has a huge population and would very quickly become a key global market,” says Kollind.

Last year, iSoftBet had successful growth in Latin America and is making big plans for the region in 2022. The company signed some big deals in 2021, and this year is shaping up to be a real historic period for them on the continent.

“Our first steps in the market saw us partner with Luckia and Caliente, and our products were well received. With the value and potential of the Latin American market quite striking, it was a great opportunity for us to further explore this market. Some of our notable deals were with Doradobet, as well as with Tecnodata's Sellatuparley brand, as we sought to maximize our reach in a short space of time," Kollind said.

After receiving the approval of LOTBA to enter the city of Buenos Aires, the company will now seek to enter Buenos Aires Province. "We are starting commercial conversations, very enthusiastic about the potential of iSoftBet in Buenos Aires and in Argentina in general," revealed the executive.

In an exclusive interview with CASINO Magazine, Lars Kollind, head of Business Development at iSoftBet, stated that the company hopes to continue its upward commercial growth in Latin America, especially in view of the possible regulation of more markets such as Chile, Peru and Brazil.

“The potential for markets like Brazil, Peru and Chile to really embrace online casino regulation is huge, adding to the excitement in the region. Brazil in particular has a huge population and would very quickly become a key global market,” admitted Kollind.

For the executive, first of all, regulation is important so that players can have safe gaming experiences. “Player protection and responsible gaming are vital to the health of our industry, and regulatory frameworks are a key component to this,” he explained.

Finally, Kollind commented that 2022 is set to be a really interesting year for iGaming in Latin America. “We hope to be at the forefront of regulated markets and innovation across the continent. As trade shows continue to restart, we will also try to attend as many as possible, including the upcoming ICE London 2022 show, to talk about the potential opportunities with our products in Latin America,” he concluded.
