NetBet helps raise over a ton of food for people in need in Sao Paulo

Collecting 800 kg of food and about half a ton of milk for needy families, the Live Solidarity football championship gathered 1.3 tons in food in a single event last Saturday (12). With the support of companies such as NetBet and the VCreditos payment system, by the end of January, around 40,000 families had already been helped in neighborhoods on the outskirts of the interior of Sao Paulo.

The Live Solidarity championship partnership also took place thanks to the support of Bloco Rapadeco, giving rise to the first solidarity tournament of organizations and companies with the presence of some well-known stars of Brazilian football, such as: Sérgio, goalkeeper of Palmeiras; Wendel, side of Palmeiras; Leandro Guerreiro, former São Paulo striker; and Junior, five-time world champion.

“Participating in an event of this magnitude, where it aims to help others, is always gratifying,” says the five-time Junior World Champion, about the game that raised food for the needy in the cities of Américo Brasiliense, Santa Lúcia, Rincão and Motuca.

“It is actions like this that make us understand that we are on the right path, thanks to NetBet and VCreditos for this partnership. Together we are helping to bring food to the table of those who need it, as well as a little entertainment and fun. All this in a dignified and conscientious way,” says Felipe Joioso, creator of Live Solidária.

Organizers Sarti, Cunha, Renan, Felipe Joioso and Leandro Mancha say that this is the precedent of many other charity games that Américo is yet to receive: “It is priceless to help others. The solidarity live has been doing this for a long time and we are very happy with the result of it all,” concludes Leandro Mancha.
