CBF and SportingBet sign naming rights deal for Brasileirão’s Série B

The Série B of the Brazilian Championship is now called Brasileirão SportingBet - Série B. The new name of the competition debuted last Friday (8), with several games in different stadiums throughout Brazilian states. The sports betting company will be the title sponsor of the tournament for the next three years. This is the first time that Série B of the Brazilian Championship has its own naming rights agreement.

The Brasileirão SportingBet - Série B brand will be displayed on official content and commercial properties of the competition, including the team presentation porch, ball totem, central lawn plate and panels on the sides of the fields.

"Series B is already one of the great competitions in the Brazilian football calendar. This year, it has everything to be seen, played and exciting. Therefore, we are very happy to have SportingBet as a great partner in these next three seasons,” said CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues.

Each season of the Serie B has 380 games and fans got to know the new visual identity in the first matches of the competition, last Friday. Brusque x Guarani, Vasco x Vila Nova and Bahia x Cruzeiro opened the dispute this season.

"SportingBet decided to invest in another CBF competition. We already have a partnership in the Copa do Nordeste and now it's Serie B's turn. It's a historic moment for Brazilian football, which for the first time will have its Serie B with a commercial agreement this size. This only scales the progress we have achieved in the competition, which promises a lot this year," highlighted CBF Marketing Director, Gilberto Ratto.

With the new title sponsor, CBF also displayed the new logo of the Brasileirão SportingBet - Série B.
