"It is necessary to have a greater offer of games thinking of the new generations"

For Latamwin, a Latin American company specializing in services and technological developments for the online gaming and sports betting industry, the experience of visiting the ICE London trade show last April left interesting points to take into account, such as the rise of cryptocurrencies and the need to captivate the new generations, according to Cristhian Vargas, Business Development Manager of the company, which is already preparing its participation in the CGS event in Santiago de Chile this month.

“We went to London as clients. We visit game manufacturers, learn about new technology and where the industry is going. Of course we also went looking for providers and games that we can integrate. In fact, we closed several agreements with those considered the best in the industry. This in addition to getting together and living a kind of camaraderie with the executives of our current suppliers,” commented Cristhian Vargas, BDM of Latamwin.

As for the novelties, it was possible to appreciate a wider offer, as well as sportsbook and services related to the customer experience. In addition, the industry showed where it is going, something that, however, was already being talked about for a while: the rise of cryptocurrencies and the need to captivate the new generations.

“It is a challenge to understand that you need to have a greater offer of games with the new generations in mind. More skill games, eSports, etc. See how the industry can capture the younger audience. As Latamawin we started a campaign, a development in marketing with market studies focused on what they are looking for, how they have fun, how they make decisions. This public today is not playing, it is not on gaming platforms and it is getting older, so there is the possibility that it will never play. You have to reach those who are 30 years old, people who develop their tastes that they already have acquired,” explained Vargas.

Regarding his participation, the Latamwin executive shared that "mainly we want to know what is the importance of the market in Latin America, see how the development of bookmakers' advertising is and, of course, know the government's opinion regarding regulations.”

On the other hand, next May 24 and 25, the CGS trade show will be held in Santiago de Chile, where Latamwin will be present as a Diamante sponsor and with participation of firm’s experts that will also present on tax and legislative analysis in the online industry in Chile.
