Marcello Corrêa assumes 1st vice-presidency of Gaming Law Commission at OAB/RJ

Marcello M. Corrêa, former legal director of the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj), has just been appointed as 1st vice-president of the newly created Special Committee on Sports, Lottery and Entertainment Law of the OAB Rio de Janeiro Section. His term runs until December 31, 2024. ' I intend to share with other colleagues the experience acquired in years of working in the sector and contribute to the growth of the activity,” commented Marcello Corrêa.

The president of the Sectional Council of the Brazilian Bar Association of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Luciano Bandeira Arantes, has just appointed Marcello M. Corrêa, former legal director of Loterj, as 1st vice-president of the newly created Special Commission on Law of the Sports, Lottery and Entertainment Games of the OAB/RJ.

The lawyer and former legal director of the Lottery of the State of Rio de Janeiro is a deep connoisseur of the gaming sector and especially of lotteries in Brazil and joins the former president of Loterj, Paulo Horn, in the direction of the Gaming Law Commission.

Aware of the movements that involve the lottery industry in Brazil, Marcello Corrêa is a highly prestigious personality in the sector, having actively participated in recent years in all discussions on the nationalization of lotteries in the country and is a prominent presence in events of the sector.

“It is an honor to be part of the new Sports, Lottery and Entertainment Law Commission of the OAB of Rio de Janeiro. I intend to share with other colleagues the experience acquired in years of working in the sector and contribute to the growth of the activity in Brazil and more specifically in Rio de Janeiro,” commented Marcello Corrêa.
