Lorenzon's opening lecture “The importance of the Regulation of Sports Betting for the Government” will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the congress that will take place from June 28th to 30th, at Espaço Boulevard JK, in Sao Paulo, and will certainly attract attention of the main players in the iGaming market, as well as lawyers, regulators and other players in the gaming and betting industry in Brazil.
BiS, which already has all the exhibition spaces sold, has its congress schedule practically confirmed and the main person responsible for the regulation of sports betting in Brazil will speak to the public present at 9:10 am on June 28th.
The last draft of the decree that regulates sports betting, released exclusively by GMB, should guide the secretary's presentation, if it has not been amended or signed by the presidency by the opening of BiS. Anyway, Lorenzon will talk about what the sports betting industry wants to hear, that is, the importance of regulating the activity in Brazil.
In a 30 minutes session, the presentation should explain the main points of the regulation and the government's expectation regarding the benefits that the sports betting activity can deliver to the country and society.
Despite not having anticipated the content of his presentation, the sports betting market is already creating good expectations regarding the imminent regulation of the activity and the presence of an official of the Ministry of Economy at the event is a clear demonstration that regulation is ready to happen.
Following Geanluca Lorenzon's lecture, there will be a panel that will discuss the legal aspects of the regulation of sports betting and lotteries in Brazil. It it is expected that the secretary, if his schedule allows him to, will also be part of it, although this is not confirmed.
After the success of the first presentation of the Brazilian iGaming Summit, the second edition will again have the participation of many well-known brands in the sports betting and iGaming scene. The biggest betting event in Brazil will be entirely in person and will provide new opportunities for networking, knowledge and relevant content.
With Brazil becoming an exponent in the sports betting, lotteries and affiliation market, several global companies from the 3 sectors are already attentive to all the regulatory processes underway in the country. This was one of the main points to be considered for the idealization of the Brazilian iGaming Summit.
On the other hand, the first edition of Afiliados Latam will take place on June 30, right after BiS, also in Sao Paulo. Both events will take place at the renowned Espaço JK, on one of the most famous corners of Sao Paulo, at the intersection of Juscelino Kubitschek and Av. Faria Lima.
