Estelarbet seeks to offer its content more openly in Brazil

Sebastián Salazar Bastidas, Estelarbet's Marketing Manager, gave an exclusive interview to Revista CASINO to talk about the operator's interest in the Chilean industry and how its presence in Latin America has evolved. 'Estelarbet is a new company, with an initial focus on Chile and today operating in Brazil and Peru, where we seek to grow in the second half of the year,' said the executive.

The Chilean online gaming market is in full expansion and has very interesting potential since it is the sixth largest country in South America and the second in terms of GDP per capita. For this reason, Estelarbet participated in the CGS 2022 conferences in the panel on sports betting and its new perspectives in Latin America.

At the event in Santiago, the executive gave his opinion about the contribution of the online gaming industry to sport in general and, of course, the best practices that must be addressed in this new scenario of regulations in which the region is beginning to be inserted.

Estelarbet is a new company, with an initial focus on Chile and today operating in Brazil and Peru. “Chile is a very attractive market, still emerging, and a regulation helps to provide legal certainty to those who wish to participate in a higher value offer in this new context. In an industry where you never stop learning, we went from zero to being a recognized brand; it has been a very intense year,” he said.

In March, it was learned that the Chilean Ministry of Finance introduced a bill that regulates online betting. Salazar Bastidas assures that “for the industry, the progress that the region is showing in its interest in regulating online betting is very important. We saw it with great emphasis in Colombia before in other countries with great success and today Argentina, Brazil, Peru and of course Chile have joined.”

“I feel that our strategy of strongly supporting women's football was a success. It allowed us that public opinion managed to identify us as precursors and today we see that many other brands do it. It was a great year,” said Salazar to explain the growth of the betting site.

Regarding the company's main projects and objectives for the second half of 2022, Salazar included growth in Brazil as Estelarbet's goal: "Consolidate Chile, begin to offer our content more openly in Peru and Brazil, and hoping to triple sales with we finished December 2021 are some of our goals.”
