Emiliano Sanchez: “Mancala Gaming will seek partnerships to position and consolidate in Brazil”

Mancala Gaming will participate for the first time in the Brazilian iGaming Summit and intends to get closer to the market that is opening and seek partnerships that help the firm to consolidate in Brazil. Firm’s CEO Emiliano Sanchez states that “the regulation of sports betting is an important step towards the legalization of other verticals. As more companies are involved, players will explore other verticals like ours, and it is important to position ourselves especially at this time.”

Mancala Gaming enters the Brazilian market through the Brazilian iGaming Summit with the aim of seeking partnerships that contribute to the consolidation of the company in the country. Mancala is an ambitious gaming provider with a catalog of over 30 slots featuring traditional and innovative game mechanics and themes to suit all types of players.

All games are HTML5 and support portrait and landscape mode and can be easily integrated into partner's system even by reverse integration. By participating in BiS with Andreia Mendes Barros, sales manager at Mancala Gaming, Sanchez says that the company intends to meet with the main local players in the industry and position itself for the future legalization of other gaming verticals in the country.


GMB - What are your expectations regarding BiS 2022 and your participation in the event?

- Our company is expanding rapidly in Latin America and Brazil is one of the emerging markets we are focusing on. We believe in finding the main local industry players in BiS and closing new partnerships that will help us to strengthen our position in Brazil.

What are your company's most important products and services to serve the Brazilian gaming and betting market?
Mancala gaming is a slot game provider, we offer a curated portfolio of 30+ slot games in various themes and game mechanics to suit all players. A real highlight is our gamification tools which are available to all customers without additional integration. These tools help retain players and get the most out of our games and are beneficial for operators and players alike.

How do you analyze Brazil's growth in the gaming segment and what are your expectations regarding the regulation of sports betting in the country?
Brazil is a massive market that is now opening up to regulation. As a B2B provider, we welcome regulation as it is tied to mass adoption. We are already seeing this not only in our vertical, but mentioning sports betting is a good example of this. As more companies are involved, players will explore other verticals like ours, and it is important for us to position ourselves in this market especially at this time.

At what point do you see the local gaming market in general and its evolution from a political and regulatory point of view?
Any goal starts with a single step and Brazil is no exception. We have been following the process closely and we believe that Brazil needs regulation considering the income potential it can generate for the State and the protection of its consumers. The process, as in any other country, takes time, but in the end, clear rules benefit players, government and companies.

With the regulation of sports betting, do you have plans in Brazil to grow and contribute more to the local market?
Sports betting is one step. The Brazilian market is internationally recognized and is one of the best for the industry based on mobile penetration, internet access, and more recently with the expansion of the fintech industry in the country. Our plans are not limited to one country in one area, but we strive to cater to various demographics and audiences in the traditional gaming sphere, as well as the more casual and/or more skilled gamers. Certainly, with that in mind, we plan to consolidate our brand in the market, engaging with strategic partners and, of course, delivering the games that gamers want.

About the Brazilian iGaming Summit and Afiliados LATAM

Sao Paulo, the largest business hub in Latin America, will host the second edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit on the 28th and 29th of June. It will be the time to meet again with industry partners and network in what promises to be the most exclusive event in the iGaming market, covering sports betting, casino games and lotteries.

In this second edition of BiS there is a novelty. The third day will be dedicated to Afiliados LATAM, the first event dedicated to the exchange of experiences in affiliation marketing and digital media in general, in addition to hundreds of affiliates to form an environment of perfect interaction with various market players.

The Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) will take place at Espaço Boulevard JK, in Sao Paulo, on June 28 and 29, and LATAM Affiliates, on the 30th. The event has a strategic partnership with Games Magazine Brasil, and will be attended of investors and entrepreneurs in the sports betting, communication, affiliates, lotteries and regulatory bodies.
