Towards the Brazilian iGaming Summit

Fabio Finetti: “bwise media will bring to BiS innovative marketing solutions for the sector”

With the gaming sector growing in Brazil and the demand for innovative marketing solutions asking for new alternatives to reinforce brands, bwise media decided to debut at the Brazilian iGaming Summit. “It's that emotion of the debut even though we've been operating in the market for a few years. Our expectation for BIS is to further strengthen the relationship with our customers and also be able to present our tools to firms that want to launch and/or consolidate their own brand,” says Fabio Finetti, director of the company.

bwise media, a global digital advertising agency, presents itself for the first time at the Brazilian iGaming Summit and is very excited to arrive at the event. “It's that emotion of the debut despite bwise media operating in the Brazilian market for some years and participating in industry events both in Brazil and abroad,” says Fabio Finetti, director of the company.

GMB - What are your expectations regarding BiS 2022 and about your participation in the event?
Fabio Finetti
- We are very happy and looking forward to participating as an exhibitor in this edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit. It's that emotion of the debut despite bwise media operating in the Brazilian market for a few years and participating in industry events both in Brazil and abroad. Our expectation for BIS is to further strengthen the relationship with our customers on the one hand and, on the other, to be able to present our marketing solutions to companies that want to launch and/or consolidate their own brand in the market.

What are your company's most important products and services to serve the Brazilian gaming market?
bwise media is a global digital advertising agency that works mainly in 4 areas:

Sports Event Results Applications with which we reach an extremely qualified audience of bettors looking for statistical data to place their bets.

Sports/Football Portals and Websites: We partner with major football club portals and websites that help our clients to expose the brand to significant audiences of fans and, at the same time, provide opportunities to publish content both on the website and on the social networks for generating buzz, engaging and interacting with the target audience.

Digital influencers: our exclusive network of social media pages has more than 13 million followers and is continuously expanding. The focus here is the creation of authorial content and personalized arts after each client undergoes an in-depth study of the brand's strengths and differentials. Social networks are an extremely important means in Brazil, we know that the frequency of access of Brazilian players to networks is among the highest in the world, so it is essential to know how to use the most appropriate language to engage more and generate conversion. Social media has its own quirks and small tweaks and optimizations make a big difference in campaign results.

Programmatic media: our solution allows for an even more precise target audience selection, complementary actions to our publishers and portals and prospecting and retargeting capabilities.

How do you analyze Brazil's growth in the gaming segment and what are your expectations regarding the regulation of sports betting in the country?
Personally, I can say that I have been working in the gaming industry since 2011 and in Brazil since 2016 and the growth is constant. This is clear if we think about the increasing visibility that brands are having both online and offline, especially through sponsorships. The industry is growing as a whole, it is more dynamic every year and the high investments in football are a reflection of this. My expectation for the regulation is that it will finally come out this year. I believe that a more certain regulatory environment is a fundamental step for essentially 3 reasons. The first is to attract more investment, mainly from outside the country, at a time when many major players work only in regulated markets and need defined regulatory conditions. The second has to do with job creation and the opportunity to develop professionals with unique skills in the gaming market in Brazil. The third and last, but not least, is consumer protection from any practice that could affect their mental and financial health.

At what point do you see the local gaming market in general and its evolution from a political and regulatory point of view?
I believe that the Brazilian gaming market is moving from a stage of immaturity to a stage of greater awareness and consolidation. The long-awaited regulation can be an accelerating factor in this process, helping companies, agencies and the final consumer to operate in a safer and healthier environment.

With the regulation of sports betting, do you have plans in Brazil to grow and contribute more to the local market?
Brazil is one of the most important markets for bwise media and for us it is essential to have local expertise to serve our customers assertively. Although regulation is still under way, bwise already has a team dedicated to the Brazilian market, but it is also always looking for new professionals who can add value to our work and deliveries.
