1st BOGEC edition discusses gaming as a tool to boost tourism generating employment and income

The first edition of Brazil Opportunities Gaming E-Sports Casino (BOGEC) will take place this Thursday afternoon (23) in Sao Paulo, bringing once again the theme of gaming as a tool to increase tourism and economic boost. Specialists from Brazil and abroad will discuss opportunities for the tourist trade. Carlos Cardama, CEO of GMB, will present cases of international success from casinos to the hotel market.

The opening of BOGEC, which is sponsored by bookmaker Betsul, takes place at 2 pm (local time) with the theme “Opportunities for lodging facilities and tourist products for closing partnerships with operators and investors”, which will feature Luiz Felipe Maia (Maia & Yoshiyasu Advogados), Nelson Romanin Neto (Betsul), Carlos Cardama (Games Magazine Brasil), Bruno Omori (IDT-CEMA), Renata Abreu (federal deputy), and Evert Montero Cárdenas (Fecoljuegos/Colombia), in addition to names of the tourist trade and politics.

The panel intends to explore opportunities in the tourism sector with the closing of partnerships between operators and investors in the gaming sector with the hotel segment to generate a new economic activity capable of producing billions of reais in taxes and hundreds of thousands of jobs. The debate will present cases of international success of casinos and gaming in the hotel and tourist market.
 


Among the speakers is Carlos Cardama, CEO of Games Magazine Brasil, who will talk about some good examples of casino development around the world with an emphasis on the economic impact that the activity offers to countries that adopt gaming regulation as a clean and modern industry, capable of attracting millionaire investments and generating employment and income.
 


It will be a current and modern reflection on the opportunities for the macroeconomy with the approval of gaming and casinos in Brazil, highlighting how cities and destinations can attract products from the gaming market to boost tourism.
 


The transformations and preparation in hotel and tourist developments for closing operators and investors in the gaming sector is also part of the topic to be addressed this afternoon, with discussions on how partnerships can be closed with large groups operating the activity in the international market, with presentation of successful cases.
