“Sportradar is excited about BiS, hopes to understand well course of regulation to grow in Brazil”

Sportradar, a global sports technology company that creates immersive experiences for sports fans and bettors, will be with its team at the Brazilian iGaming Summit this week to continue with its policy of approaching the market and establishing new partnerships. Rodrigo Cambiaghi, firm's LATAM ads sales director, says that Brazil is very important to the company and they are available to offer their knowledge for the benefit of the regulation of the sports betting sector.

Sportradar, a world-renowned sports technology company that creates immersive experiences for sports fans and bettors, will participate in BiS, which opens its doors tomorrow (28) in São Paulo. Rodrigo Cambiaghi, the company’s LATAM ads sales director, says that Sportradar “has good expectations of our participation in the Brazilian iGaming Summit, both to meet our current customers and to speak with new customers and exchange ideas on all the fronts that we serve today at Sportradar.”

With what expectations does Sportradar arrive at BiS and what do you expect from the event?
Rodrigo Cambiaghi
- Sportradar is a global company with over 20 years in the market focused on sports technology and we have seen the market growth in the Latin American region and particularly in Brazil. We have good expectations of our participation in the Brazilian iGaming Summit both to meet our current customers and to talk to new ones and exchange ideas about all the fronts that we serve today at Sportradar.

For Sportradar, how important is the Brazilian market and how are you working on it now?
The Brazilian market is very important for Sportradar, so much so that we have some specific representatives for the region. I joined Sportradar three years ago to take care of the region and the company needed someone who could speak the language in the region, which is strategic. We have great expectations with the regulation happening, as it will greatly help the market to grow in a sustainable way.

What services or products can you offer to those interested in learning more about Sportradar during BiS?
Our main core is data delivery. We provide both pre-match and live odds data. We also have streaming and integrity services, where we can detect fraudulent matches and possible combined games, we have the ads part, which takes care of the acquisition of new users, the sponsorship part and we also offer platform services. Quite broadly, I am sure that a sports betting operator is possibly our direct or indirect customer. So, I take advantage and invite all to stop by our booth and exchange ideas with us.

Can you imagine that the presence of the new authorities of the Ministry of Economy in charge of regulating sports betting gives even more status to the event? Do you expect them to bring important news about the exit from regulation?
We are looking forward to the regulation and very close to the main operators that are in contact with the regulatory bodies and we have already made ourselves available to the industry for whatever it needs in terms of information about the sector.

Did you suppose that by now the betting regulations would be approved?
We know that regulation is not so simple and depends on many variables and needs to be done properly. We hope that it will arrive soon to ensure adequate growth in Brazil, which will allow us to have even more presence in Brazil, as well as in other Latin American countries, such as Colombia and Mexico and even in the United States,

Brazilian iGaming Awards

For the second year, the Brazilian iGaming Awards will recognize the most outstanding in the sports betting and iGaming sector in the Brazilian market in 14 categories, on the first day of BiS 2022, in Sao Paulo.

The Brazilian iGaming Awards recognize, via industry vote, the companies and professionals that stood out this year. The award event will take place at the Charles Edward Pub, at Rua Miriti s/n, in Sao Paulo, during a cocktail party that will bring together participants registered for the Brazilian iGaming Summit, on the night of June 28th.

The objective is to reward companies and professionals that have made and continue to make a difference to the national market and provide a memorable night for the public. The event is exclusive to BiS participants.

About the Brazilian iGaming Summit and Afiliados LATAM

Sao Paulo, the largest business hub in Latin America, will host the second edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit on the 28th and 29th of June. It will be the time to meet again with industry partners and network in what promises to be the most exclusive event in the iGaming market, covering sports betting, casino games and lotteries.

In this second edition of BiS there is a novelty.
