Success in Brazil’s market depends on sector knowledge, dedication to product and resilience

The lectures during afternoon at BiS continued with a map for a good operation that includes marketing strategy, loyalty and good service, among others. It was designed by Vivian Lima, CEO of ZEST EVENTOS, and the partners of Crtl+F5, André Alves and Natália Nogues. During the conversation, they talked about the importance of studying in depth all aspects of the market, taking good care of customers, the product and not being afraid to learn from mistakes.

The first to speak was Natália Nogues, Partner at Crtl+F5, bringing an assessment of the importance of getting to know everyone involved in the market, from customers and, of course, the competition.

“Who are the gamblers? These are people who are already there or who you want to bring to the market. So, it is important to define where and how we want to get there. All operations have a strategy. Another thing, know the competition. We need to know who the competitors are, what they are doing, what is happening in the market. All of this is very important and brings very cool ideas,” states Nogues.

Vivian Lima, CEO of ZEST EVENTOS, continued with the strategy tips, stressing that it is important to be up to date on regulatory changes in the market and highlighted the work done by specialized media in the sector.

“We have highly qualified professionals to bring quality information. And it's not just bringing information, they live the day to day of the industry. They are people who know deeply and are deeply in the market. So don't believe only superficial news,” Lima said.

André Alves, Partner at Crtl+F5, stated that among all these points, the one that cannot be forgotten, never, is the product. “What converts is not the campaign, but the product. So, it is important to think about bringing content and entertainment. Why did the bettor enter a website? He got there for a purpose. He wants entertainment, gambling and markets. Thinking about content in a special way is thinking about increasing your conversion percentage.”

Among the various tips given by the professionals on the panel, the one that stood out was the investment in mechanisms that manage customer loyalty. “Customers are loyal, but they need to have something to stay loyal. He needs to be encouraged to loyalty. Today the sites are very dedicated to customer acquisition, but they fail to retain them. The person who bets is competitive and wants to be on the site. You need to create an environment that makes you want to be a VIP and get a coffee on your birthday. It’s these little pieces that create loyalty.”

Vivian Lima stated that despite knowing some paths, there is no 100% right recipe and that it is necessary to be open to learning. “The company's success is very much related to its ability to react quickly to mistakes and not make them again. So, it's all about resilience.”
