Founder of Brasília Marketing School talks about LatAm market at SIGMA Americas

The World’s Gaming Festival SiGMA Americas will have Brazilian presence at today’s second day event. Professor Fernando Antunes, founder of the Brasília Marketing School, will be the only speaker at the lecture “Emerging Markets: Growing Scale in Latin America” at the four-day face-to-face meeting that brings together the best of the international gaming industry in Toronto, Canada.

SiGMA Americas is taking place until tomorrow (9) in Toronto at the Enercare Center. The event facilitates the exchange of industry best practices and knowledge sharing, among key brands and thought leaders from the world of iGaming including regulation, responsible gambling, eSports, casino operators, land-based and crypto-betting sports franchises, horse betting, lotteries and marketing, exploring emerging opportunities and showcase the latest technological trends.

“I truly believe that transmitting what I have learned in a practical and pragmatic way can accelerate the growth of people and organizations and transform society. Therefore, I help people, companies and institutions to develop in search of excellence, whether as a manager, teacher, entrepreneur, mentor or speaker,” said Antunes.

Antunes is an advertising professional by degree; management, marketing and strategy professional and consultant by profession. In a 20-year career, with more than 15 in management and leadership activities and almost 10 in the classroom, he has worked in companies of different sizes and segments in technology, retail, media, advertising, finance, education, government, third sector, among others.

The specialist has worked with dozens of brands, such as Coca-Cola, Itaú, Rede Globo, Vivo, Bob’s, International Olympic Committee, Federal Government of Brazil and Instituto Europeo di Design. In addition to the large ones, he also had the opportunity to contribute to entrepreneurs in their various small and medium businesses through consulting and mentoring.

In 2012, he created his own brand absolutely from scratch. Passion for education and entrepreneurial nature came together to build the Brasília Marketing School. Today, BMS has more than 4,000 students, more than 60 courses in strategic marketing, digital marketing, creativity and disruptive business development in the areas of creative economy.

In addition to being its founder, Antunes is also one of BMS's partner professors. “I enjoy teaching so much that I also teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and give lectures in Brazil and Europe,” explains the professor.

Currently, in addition to undertaking in the area of education and teaching, he develops technologically oriented research and innovation projects in the area of marketing, mainly involving automation, blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.
