During recent Confut Sudamericana 2022 event, Vampeta, an idol for Corinthians and the Brazilian national team who also played for PSV Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, Inter Milan and PSG, in France, told GMB of his joy at being an ambassador for bookmaker Vai from Bob, almost a year ago.
GMB –How has been your experience as Vai de Bob ambassador?
Vampeta – It is a pleasure to be with you here. We have been with Vai de Bob for almost a year, along with Rádio e TV Jovem Pan. It's really cool to be with Vai de Bob’s great team.
An interesting project, putting together sports betting with big names in football, like you, who made history in Brazil. Is it one more business card?
Certainly. Sports betting is a worldwide fever, with people placing bets all over the world. Vai de Bob is not only in football, but also in other modalities, such as basketball and volleyball and reality shows. I had the opportunity to receive the invitation and we have been with them for almost a year. Vai de Bob arrived in Brazil with great force.
Do you usually play and bet?
Yes, I play a lot at Vai de Bob.
Sports betting is under discussion in Brazil. Do you hope for quick regulation?
Sports betting should be released as soon as possible, as we see it in several clubs in Series A and B of the Brasileirão and there are no mistakes. I saw Zico's interview for you giving the same answer. He is also supporting and we are always firm and strong. Gotta release it soon.
And more and more athletes are showing their face on sports betting sites!
Clear. You can't take away the right to have fun. There is this fever all over the world and why not here in Brazil? It is an additional income, including the resources that go into football clubs. People who like to place their bets have that right.
